governanceThe National Institute for Christian Education (NICE) is a teaching institute of the College of Christian Higher Education (CCHE). It is the Teacher training arm of Christian Education National (formerly Christian Parent Controlled Schools Ltd.)

NICE Council

The controlling body of NICE is a council consisting of up to seven members and a non voting NICE Principal. Five members are appointed for three-year terms by the Board of Christian Education National, with three members from the Board itself. In addition, the NICE council may also appoint up to two members for three-year terms.

Academic Planning and Review Committee (APRC)

The Academic Planning and Review Committee (APRC) of NICE has substantial input into course design and structure as well as providing a forum for making recommendations on policy matters directly related to the educational process. Students and lecturers have input through membership of the APRC and through unit evaluations submitted at the end of each trimester.

APRC is made up of academic staff from within NICE, knowledgeable and independent academics from similar institutions in the public arena, and representatives from the community served by NICE.
