In recognition of study undertaken with the National Institute for Christian Education we issue two certificates:

  • Advanced Certificate of Christian Education


Certificate of Christian Education

The Certificate of Christian Education is an award granted to successful participants in an introductory course on Christian education. The course includes historical, theological and philosophical elements and gives participants an understanding of the: development of Christian schooling in Australia; biblical basis and worldview implications. The certificate course is suitable for all staff and parents of a Christian school community. The Institute also offers a Certificate in Christian Education (Biblical Studies) for those involved directly with the writing and delivery of biblical studies courses.

Advanced Certificate of Christian Education

The second certificate, called the Advanced Certificate of Christian Education, is awarded to Institute students who successfully complete our two core units from the postgraduate program (Foundations of Christian Education and Worldviews in Education). It is expected that most of these students will go on to complete a BEd, GradDipEd, or MEd but the advanced certificate is a significant milestone indicating that substantial study at post-graduate level in Christian education has been achieved.
